Church Safety & Preparedness Course

$300.00

Deposit of $300 is required to book the 3 part training. Final agreed upon payment is due at end of training.

Our Church Security & Safety Training Program is designed to help churches responsibly protect their congregation through assessment, preparedness, and coordinated response—while maintaining a welcoming and respectful worship environment. Training is scalable for churches with small volunteer teams and can include both armed and unarmed members.

Church Security Assessment — Complimentary

The security assessment provides a real-world evaluation of your current safety posture and response procedures. This allows us to understand what your team is already doing well, identify potential vulnerabilities, and highlight areas for improvement.

During the assessment:

• Building access points, visibility, and general security posture are evaluated

• Team awareness and response priorities are observed

• No advance notice is given to the security team to ensure a realistic assessment

• No actions taken will be unsafe, disruptive, or place anyone at risk

After the service, we will meet with church leadership and the security team to:

• Review observations and findings

• Conduct a walkthrough of the facility

• Discuss realistic improvements and training priorities

This assessment helps guide future training and ensures instruction is tailored specifically to your church.

Range Day & Active Threat Response Training

This training is designed for churches with an armed security team and focuses on safety, accountability, and coordinated response.

Phase 1: Range Day

The range portion ensures armed team members can safely and responsibly operate their firearms under stress. Emphasis is placed on:

• Accuracy and safe firearm handling

• Drawing and firing from concealment

• Individual skill assessment to prevent liability

• Confidence and consistency under controlled conditions

Training is adjusted to individual skill levels. If team members vary in experience, the group can be split:

• Advanced shooters work on higher-level drills and tactics

• Newer shooters receive focused instruction to build safe proficiency

We provide the range, targets, and instruction. Participants are responsible for:

• Their firearm

• Carry holster

• Ammunition

• A willingness to learn

Phase 2: On-Site Active Threat Response

Once firearm proficiency is established, training moves to the church facility. Instruction includes:

• Coordinated response procedures

• Communication and movement inside the building

• Team roles during an active threat

• Decision-making under stress

The day is divided into:

Group instruction (including greeters and non-armed team members)

Armed team instruction focused on movement, building clearing, and response strategies

This training is physically demanding and repetition-based to reinforce safe, effective habits.

Tactical Medicine / Stop the Bleed (Extra Add on)

This course focuses on life-saving care after a threat has been stopped, preparing the team to render aid until first responders arrive.

Topics include:

• Bleeding control and hemorrhage management

• Tourniquet use and wound packing

• Triage principles

• Supporting EMS upon arrival

While many congregations have medical professionals, no single person can care for everyone in an emergency. This course empowers the entire team with essential first-aid skills.

Hands-on training aids are used to reinforce learning.
